Fishing is my favourite sport. I often fish for hours without catching anything.

钓鱼是我最喜欢的运动。我常常一钓几个小时却一无所获。

But this does not worry me. Some fishermen are unhappy. Instead of catching fish, they catch old boots and rubbish. I am even less lucky. I never catch anything, not even old boots.

但我并不担心。一些渔民很不高兴。他们钓不到鱼，反而钓上来一些旧靴子和垃圾。我就更不幸运了。我什么也没钓到，连旧靴子也没钓到。

After having spent whole mornings on the river, I always go home with empty bag.

在河边渡过整个上午之后，我总是空着袋子回家。

“You must give up fishing!” my friends say. “It’s a waste of time.”

“你必须放弃钓鱼！”我朋友说。“你这是在浪费时间。”

But they don’t realize one important thing. I’m not really interested in fishing. I am only interested in sitting in a boat and doing nothing at all!

但是他们忽略掉了最重要的一件事。我对钓鱼并不感兴趣，我只对坐在船上什么都不做感兴趣!
